  • Best thing to come out of the weekend NYY-Bos series? the return of the "where is roger" chant that caused Rocket's wife to cry years back. hahaha.
  • Joe Morgan continues to disgust me. He is so underprepared for games. Does he even watch baseball games when he's not announcing? To not know that Okajima - perhaps the MVP of the MLB-best Red Sox this year - has one of the most unique deliveries in baseball history is absurd. Even if he weren't the number one announcer for national baseball, he at the least should have watched tape of all the important players of both teams. And then he mentioned that ESPN (and himself) covered Okajima's first game this year. How do you not remember that stuff joe?
  • In a relatively shocking upset, Peter King does not predict the Patriots to win the Super Bowl. He actually goes with the Colts.
  • LeBron is an awesome player, but Kobe Bryant is still the best player in the NBA. Offense, defense, passing, leadership. Funny thing is every year someone breaks out in the playoffs and is proclaimed the best player in the league. Last year it was Dwyane Wade, and now we can get through at least Bron, Bryant, Nash, and Duncan before even mentioning him. Detroit just had a terrible gameplan against James in the double OT game. You have to double a guy who is making every single shot. Deny him the ball and if he has it make him give it up. If someone can burn you with an open shot, so be it. At worst you'll break even if the shooter hits the shot and at best the shooter is not going to be hitting everything like Bron was. Flip Saunders was terrible in that game. Mike Brown is not any better.
  • I hate the (L)eastern Conference. If the C's had snagged Oden, they could have won that conference easily next year. Rondo, Pierce, Wally, Big Al, and Oden, with West, Green, Perk, Allen off the bench is a damn good team - especially in comparison to the talent-starved (aside from LBJ) Cavs. Pretty sad.
  • I am ecstatic with the result of the Aussie Millions Main Event. I think that tournament is a clear number two to the WSOP as Poker's biggest event. I am not a huge Gus Hansen or Andrew Black fan, but I hated that fat cocky prick Fricke.
