The new NBA dress code is utterly ludicrous. I thought the No Fun League was bad but it appears the old white stiffs that run the N***az with Business Attire league are far whiter and stiffer. One main reason for the NBA's success is that it has a hip hop appeal. In many circles, the flashy jerseys, clean sneakers, and other banned items of clothing are considered the cutting edge of style. You know me, I REALLY hate to play the race card in anything, but this smacks of David Stern ivory tower discrimination in order to appease a few white stiff luxury box owners and his own distorted sense of reality. The players association should threaten strikes - or at least threaten to have everyone sit out random games during the year in protest.
