SCHRAGER ON THE SCENE: The Patriots are on the clock, and things just got interesting. A "Boston sucks" chant starts, it's matched by a creative "Jets suck" chant, and is then taken to a completely new level. Out of nowhere, Radio City begins resonating with the sounds of "Aaron Boone, Aaron Boone." The Patriots fans scramble for some sort of answer — a list of consecutive AFC East Championships, a horribly organized "Tom Brady" cheer — and then fizzle out. Jets fans win, again. They're 2-0 in the chant deparment, but 0-for-1969 on the field. You take wins where you can get 'em, I guess. The Patriots select Laurence Maroney. An older Jets fan walking by mumbles, "Maroney boloney." To make sure I heard him, he repeats it again, only this time louder, with an expletive in between Maroney and Boloney. Terrific stuff.
