MLB
- worst officiating I have ever seen in this year's playoffs. Not the worst calls or worst officiated games though - that might go to the phantom tag on offerman in 1999.
- Chisox officially have the worst fans in pro sports. Not only are they virtually nonexistent, but they batter umpires and opposing players' wives. wtf. Guillen doesn't help things when he gives the choke sign to opposing fans.
- Aaron Rowand went to Daisy Buchanan's here in Boston after the sweep with a broom. Stay classy man.
- Konerko has been a beast in the playoffs. Wonder if the sox will really push to sign him. As long as its an addition rather than a replacement for manny, i'd be happy with it.

NBA
- The EA cover jinx continues: Amare Stoudemire appears on NBA Live 2006, then undergoes surprise microfracture surgery and may never be the same again.
- How sweet would it be to get your hands on some internal NBA memos regarding the dress code? We need a whistleblower on this.
- Mark Blount has stated that his name is pronounced Blunt. He's still funky though.

NFL
- If Harrison was still around, bruschi coming back would make me confident to the point of cocky for this season. That being said, TB is pretty significant. Monty Beisel has been getting blown up week after week. Chad Brown is awful, and Vrabel is terrible at the LB spot he's not used to.
- More importantly, Bruschi brings big plays to this defense. The lack of turnovers is RIDICULOUS. Turnovers is Patriot football.
- That rams/saints blown call was terrible. I don't blame the refs at all but you figure they would have put in something appropriate in the ginormous NFL rule book for that sort of situation.

NHL
- I love the new NHL. The bruins/leafs game yesterday was amazing. So much nonstop action. Tons of scoring and scoring opportunities left and right. And it doesnt feel forced, it feels like these scoring chances come up naturally in the flow of the game. Supposedly, teams now spend 1/3 of the game in a powerplay situation. Makes for exciting stuff.
- but maybe its just me, since i love the nhl. Aside from the new speed and scoring, it's still relatively difficult to follow the sport on tv for all the same reasons as before. oh well. best sport to watch in person though.

Other
- Freddy Adu may have a logical point. At the same time I can't stand teenagers and other precocious individuals acting spoiled/cocky. STFU Freddy.
- Michelle Wie annoys the hell out of me. Someone who really isn't that good getting sponsor's exemptions and tons of publicity/endorsements. Maybe if she was 18 and hot i'd have less of a problem. She also speaks like a fob.
